Hey!  I'm Dr Femke Ellens.  I was born and raised in The Netherlands and I studied medicine at the University of Maastricht. 

 

In 2004 I decided to move to the sunshine and ended up in Cyprus. I had a great time there and successfully started my own primary health care centre in Limassol.  I played for the Cypriot national beach tennis and squash team and had the honour of being the doctor of several international sporting events. 

 

In 2015 I was accepted as an international member of the Royal College of General Practitioners of the U.K.

After my two beautiful daughters were born, I decided to live a little bit closer to my family and moved to the fantastic city Barcelona. Here I found a perfect combination of working with like-minded people, living close to the beach, being able to surf and enjoy the beautiful country Spain with my girls and our camper van.
